Fines & Fees
How much are the fines for overdue books and materials?
The amount of the fines per day varies. Please view the complete schedule below. Books and materials borrowed from other libraries are subject to the fine schedule established by that library.
What is the maximum amount of fines I can have?
If you have $30.00 or more in fines on your account, you will be unable to check out materials or use the computers at the library until you pay at least part of the balance.
How can I pay my fines?
Fines can be paid in person at the library with cash or a check. They can also be paid online with a credit card if fines total $5.00 or more. Log in to your account and click on 'My Account' towards the top of the page, then select 'Fines and Fees'. We cannot take a card payment at the library.

What do I do if I lose a library book?
Books that are lost must be replaced. The cost of the lost book will be charged to the borrower.

Is there a charge for borrowing materials?
Books & audiobooks are free to check out. Starting in January 2022, DVDs will no longer have a rental fee and will be free to check out as well.
