Summer Reading Program 2023

This year's Summer Reading Program theme is All Together Now!
We are excited to welcome families back into the library for a full range of summer reading activities from June 10 – August 12, 2023.

Children ages 3-18 should be registered on or after June 10th at the UPV Library to receive reading logs, a brag tag necklace, and a packet with all the programs and activities we will have available throughout the summer. If your child is under 3, ask about our Baby Bee Club! Keep track of the minutes you read and log it in your hive booklet, or online on the Beanstack App.
For children ages 3-12, for every 2 hours of reading you will earn a ticket for the prize buckets and a bead for your brag necklace.
For teens ages 13-18, for every 300 minutes of reading you will receive a ticket for the teen prize.
Prizes will be on display at the library. Tickets can be put in corresponding buckets by young readers who hope to win the prize at the end of the summer. Teens can enter to win straight cash!
