Who can access these free eBooks?
Anyone with a valid library card from any Montgomery County Library may have free access.
How many audio books can I check out at one time?
You can check out a total of 10 audio and eBooks from Libby.
What is the lending period for eBooks?
7 or 14 days, depending on the book.
Can I renew an eBook?
Yes, but only if it is not reserved for another patron.
Can I place a hold on eBooks?
Holds can be placed on up to ten items total (eBooks and audiobooks).
How do I return an eBook?
At the end of the check-out period, you will see a message that you no longer have access to that title. You will have to manually delete it from your computer and/or device.
Are there ever late fees?
No.
Can I transfer eBooks to an eReader device?
Yes, if compatible. Some compatible devices include a Nook, Kindle, Sony Reader, PanDigital, Liberati, iPad, iPhone, Droid and others.

Adobe EPUB eBooks have reflowable text, which means you can change the font, resize the text, or alter the size of your display. It is the optimal choice for reading eBooks on small screens.
