Science in the Summer

Wednesdays, July 12 - August 9 at 10:30am

2nd - 5th Grade

This year's GSK Science in the Summer theme is Be a Physicist! with all-new activities that invite you to play the role of professional physicists.

We will be investigating different forms of energy and using the principles of physics to learn more about the world around us.

Ever wonder what it's like to be:

An Accident Investigator
A Laser Scientist
A Materials Scientist
A Power Plant Engineer
A Sound Engineer

Each week we will learn about one of these 5 types of Physicists. Become part of the research team to help solve real-world problems!

The program will be offered in-person at libraries across the greater Philadelphia area for children entering 2nd through 5th grade. The program team and library staff are working together to ensure a safe and memorable summer science program. Please do not register if your child can only join us for one day.

Must come to at least 4 classes
