As a small community library, we rely on donations to help us provide a wide range of services to young children, job seekers, retired readers, and more. Your gift will help us continue to provide those services to our community.

For your security, cash donations are only accepted in person at the library.
Volunteering
If you are interested in volunteering, please download and fill out our Volunteer Form. Bring it with you to the library to discuss potential volunteer hours with our Branch Manager, Christine Bates.
Volunteers are REQUIRED to have:
- PA State Police Criminal History Clearance
- PA Child Abuse History Clearance
- FBI Clearance (if 18 years or older)
Book Donations
We gladly accept book donations any time of the year. If you have a large donation, please call us when you arrive and we will meet you out back with a cart. Please no textbooks, encyclopedias, magazines, condensed books, moldy or damaged materials.
Friends of the Library
The Friends of the Library is an independent non-profit organization of volunteers that works to raise money for the library through semi-annual book sales.
Anyone is welcome to join the Friends of the Library. There is a yearly membership fee of $10.00. For more information on joining, please contact upvlfriends@gmail.com.
The Friends of the library hold two book sales each year, one in the Spring and one in the Fall.
