Science In The Summer

Program runs: July 1 & 2, 2019
Registration starts: Friday, May 17 @ 12:00 pm

Come to the library and learn about the Science of Me!

The Science of Me program invites children to explore the biological systems that make humans fundamentally alike and the elements that interact to create a unique individual. Through engaging hands-on exploration, students discover how food becomes our body's fuel, where oxygen goes when we breathe it, how our brains interpret the world, and what role DNA plays in making us who we are.

What is it?

Science in the Summer is the fun and FREE science education program sponsored by GlaxoSmithKline and administered by The Franklin Institute, which introduces students to the wonderful and fascinating world of science.

Through classes held here at the library and taught by certified teachers, this program gets kids excited about sciene with hands-on experiments. Classes are small with only 16 students each, so be sure to register early!
