Science In The Summer

Program runs: July 2 & 3, 2018
Registration starts: Tuesday, May 15 @ 12:00 pm

Come to the library and learn about the Science of Space!

The Science of Space invites children to see the sky above them. Through active, hands-on learning, students explore the sun's energy, the phases of the moon, human survival in space, and how rockets overcome the Earth's gravity. From here on Earth, we look up and see the sun and moon. From here, we dream of space travel and achieve liftoff.

What is it?

Science in the Summer is the fun and FREE science education program sponsored by GlaxoSmithKline and administered by The Franklin Institute, which introduces students to the wonderful and fascinating world of science.

Through classes held here at the library and taught by certified teachers, this program gets kids excited about sciene with hands-on experiments. Classes are small with only 16 students each, so be sure to register early!
